Just to clarify the Golddust Spider, I talked to Brian, and he said that is a "Black Opal" that is a codom morph, but not a pastel, combined with a Spider, sorry for the confusion I caused, I just remembered the Opal part.

I hope not, I really hate secrets. When I was a little kid I was hard to live with around Christmas time... My Parents used to have to keep the wrapped presents locked up in the trunk of the car so I wouldn't open them early...

What's a Black Opal? Is that what he's calling the Heterozygous form? Or is that some other mutation? The only Opal I've ever heard of was the Superpastel, but I don't think too many people call them opals anymore.

Yes the Black Opal is what they call the Heterozygous form, and they are not a pastel or anytype. He also says not many people call the super pastels Opals anymore, so he calls the Het form of this morph Black Opal.

I love the hypo pewter, definitely one of my favorites. That lavender albino cinny was pretty cool too.

    Thanks for sharing!

Somebody posted a a Black Opal clutch on KS last spring -- not Brian. I also saw a UTUBE video about 3 weeks ago of 2 guys cutting a clutch of what they were referencing as "Black Opals". I thing that was the name of the vid as well. The guy doing the cutting sounded just like Brian to my ear. The Black Opal was a dark granite type morph. I think a super was hatched in that KS post. I think I'll do little search while I am waiting for my feeders to be delivered!!!

I think I know the video you are referring too, I saw it as well, and that was Brian you hear, and it was Brian talking and it was Aaron's (From A&B Reptiles) eggs, he used to work with Brian. The super form, from talking to Brian today, is alot like a super chocolate, except the super form of the Black Opal is a irradescent shiny brown with gold spots, as opposed to the dull brown on the chocolates.
