I'm confused about something.
If you go down and look at Desert Het. Clown, there is a significant looking difference than a Desert.
Why does the Het gene affect the Desert gene? Does that make it not true recessive?
I have seen these at Pro Exotics in person and spoken with Robyn. I have also spoken with Casey Lazik about a morph that looks like the Desert but may be slightly different... not sure but Casey is calling his a Tiger project?
The strangest part of this is that this Dom or Co-Dom gene causes the recessive genes to come out in some other form. It appears to almost make the recessives look like a co-dom. I do not think that anyone understands
this from the conversations that I have had.
i think that we will never truely be able to fully explain everything that happens in the animal kingdom, ie. desert hets, woma gene. we should just take it as art an enjoy it.
