    I Need a Rack system!

    Hello everyone,
I am to the point where I feel it would be a good Idea for me to aquire a Rack system for my snakes,So heres the deal...
I've looked around a little bit and man Racks are EXPENSIVE!
I would like a Rack that would be capable of holding 5-10 adults,Has a built in heating system and is around $500( I know I'm probally dreaming!) I would spend as much as $1000 but would prefer to keep it cheaper.Any ideas/tips/hints would be appriciated.

Try Animal Plastics, I have a few of their racks and will never use anyone else! Great people! I have their cb70 economy rack.....GREAT!

Check out this link http://www.animalplastics.com/ and click on whats new and send them an email. Ali is great! And you could almost get two of them for $500 and hold 20 adults! Good Luck!

Re: I Need a Rack system!

I have made this reccomendation several times for folks that want a less expensive rack system. I have a stack 14 high, it is sturdy and works well. I am even using 3 of them to breed in this year. You can buy as many as you need and they stack right on top of each other. Heat them with heat cable, not very expensive. Heres the link.

You can easily house 5 snakes this way for under $250.

Re: I Need a Rack system!

    Build it.

Not only did I see that racks are WAY out of my price range, they use tubs that are too short for my, or my snakes, liking. So, I built my own rack for 90qt tubs for about $150. Instructions and such are on my homepage if you wanted to take a look.

Building a rack is not that hard, doesn't require a ton of tools or knowledge, and you can customize however you want.
