I use a piece of plexi-glass to cover half of my tank. This helps keep the humidity up but not too high. Also a humid hide especially during shed and a good soak in the middle of shed (after your snakes eyes clear but right before they actually shed) allows for a good shed. I have a large cave for my snake and I use sphagum moss soaked in warm water. Not too wet but just enough to increase the humidity. I also raise the temp just a couple of degrees.
