I have 2 strictly indoor cats who have access to the whole house along w/ 3 indoor dogs who have access to the whole house. I haven't noticed mine behaving differently at all! I hold my snakes while the animals walk by or are sitting next to me too.

I guess it could be due to the fact that most of the animals were here first and they just adjusted in the beginning during the no handling in the first few weeks time? not sure tho? but either way, i imagine they will settle down.
