Need help

My problem is that my 2 Leo have not eaten in over a week. They both have just shed so I know that will take care of them for a while. It seems in the last little while they have not been interested in food. I have tried both mealworms and crickets. Any advice will be most deeply appreciated.

How are they housed? They could be stressed. Are they albino or normals?

How old are they and how long have you had them? What substrate are you using and what are the hot and cold side temps?

They are very young geckos, too young to sex they are housed in a ten gallon tank with a newspaper substrate. The hot side is 90 and the cool side is high 70's.

Are they deficating regularly and does it look normal? It is runny or extra smelly? I'd recommend a fecal on both to rule out any internal parasites. That is one of the main causes for leos to stop eating and then start losing weight.

Leave a dish of mealworms in for them at all times. You can count the mealworms to monitor how much they are eating if anything. You can also offer wax worms to see if they will take them. They are high in fat and not a good regular food item but can be used as a treat or to entice a picky eater.

Also make sure that they have places to hide so that they feel secure and keep them in a low traffic area.

The feces look normal so I'll try a bowl of mealworms, thanks for all of the advice.
