Come here little guy. You're awfully cute and fluffy but unfortunately for you, you're made of meat

If you do it right mealworms do not stink, have had a colony going for years and years here.....unless I told you, you would never know. I also do madagascan roaches.....easy!!!

Re: This is getting ridiculous. I need to start breeding.
Thanks everyone for all the help ^^ I just skimmed the posts (no time at the moment to really go through, read, and ask questions) but I'll be back to look over every ones reply.
I'm going to see if my Savannah will take the roaches, then if she does, I'll see if I can talk my dad in allowing me to breed them.
His main concern about roaches (I wanted them for whatever reason) is that they would escape in the house and breed. I suppose it wouldn't be to big of a deal to just build a bug shed in addition to the rat shed and keep them just in there.
Someone keeps trying to access my accounts. Who are you? Just e-mail me, as that's clearly how you're finding me. Quit messing around.

As I stated earlier, where you are in Missouri, you are at no risk of B.dubia colonizing in your home.
Not to mention they can not climb glass/plastic, so you'd have to dump them out on the floor for them to escape.
They do require very warm temperatures, so if you keep them outside, you'll need a heating pad and heating light during the winter.

I tried keeping roaches outside before, temp varies way to much and you might get invaded by other bugs!
