Go to 'search' at the top of the page, and type in mites. There's tons of threads and stickies on the subject that will give you more information than people replying to this topic.

Lol that's exactly what I was gonna say . It's a period that moves. Just watch your hand after you handle the snake and if you see any tiny tiny black dots moving around you've got mites. They SUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK (literally) for the animal as well as for you (in trying to get rid of them). My BP came loaded with mites when I bought her (stupid move buying from a pet store) and it took me about a month to get rid of all of them. Thank god she was my first and I didn't have anyone else at the time for them to spread to because they spread FAST.
