New pick up-KSB

Ive been looking at this and decided to pick one up for my son..hes real sweet..I have a question about feeding him..since he is on aspen bedding should i remove him from his home and feed in a seperate container?? I know other snakes cannot ingest their bedding so I wasnt sure about these little guys ..

All snakes can ingest a very small amount of bedding and be fine. Large amounts can cause impaction, but your KSB should be alright.
Make sure to have a thick enough layer of aspen to burrow quite a bit though. Those guys love to burrow!
I keep my on crushed walnut shell mix, and feed in a separate container, because the walnut shell is more dangerous, plus it's hard to find him as it is.

I was thinking about getting one of these little guys but decided not to cus I had already spent 1100 at the show lol. Ans I was out of places to properly keep another snake. Maybe someday.
