    Need help with find!!

someone found this lil' guy in our factory. It was cold enough indoors to require a jacket. He was somewhat sluggish and possibly has bruising. When I warmed him up he got more active. The coin in the pic is a dime for size reference. Before I introduce a food item I was wondering what to feed. I have some pinhead crickets, but not sure if that is best. Could someone please ID him for me? Not sure if he'll make it, but I'm willing to try.

He looks a lot like a midland brown snake, but my eyes aren't great.

Could be a northern brown, Texas brown, or red-bellied, although its missing a feature of the red-bellied so I am leaning toward brown.

Thanks, it says they eat snails, worms and soft bodied insects, Not sure if I can find something in the garden. He is so tiny, I'm afraid crickets may bite him.

Northern Brown Snake I'm betting. Had an adult once and got him slugs.

Right now we are going with mealworms and tiny redworms. That's all I can find. After the handling he got by his captors I'm surprised he's doing well.

Yes, definately a DeKay's snake.....or northern brown snake. They don't get much bigger than that either.
