    Sulphers!

I see that I was a little late with the thread, as Eric Sandoval has come and post, but I see he didn't post any pics of plain ole Sulphers. So as promised, here are some pics that Judy (JLC) and Heather(LadyOhh) were asking for. First up is a pic of our original Sulpher male with a Normal, and one of his daughters in the foreground.

This is a pic of one of our Sulpher holdbacks with a normal ball python.

Here is our holdbacks head shot.

Here is a pic of both of the 2008 Sulpher females that we are keeping.

I hope this helps with those that have been asking. I think between the pics I have posted, and David Reid and Eric Sandoval, the confusion or questions about Sulphers should be answered. However, if anyone still has questions, or would like to see some other picture, please feel free to ask.

    Sincerely,
    Tim Bailey

Those holdbacks are pretty nice looking Tim, congrats. What combos do you like, and what combos do you plan on doing, if any, this coming year?

    Re: Sulphers!

Good day sir, Im just a newbie regarding morphs, and like others, Im quite confused w/ what a makes a sulfur, a sulfur. Like in appearance, I can see some head blushings and patterns, lighter coloration, but other than that, I cant see a trend in them, cause some normals are just as cool as what sulfurs look. Like in yb, its easy to tell that they are yb. But not in the case of sulfurs. Hope you can post some markers for determining a sulfur.

I don't think there are any markers except for the head markings and the lighter coloration. They really do look very normal. I shudder to think of the number of people who could be selling fire/sulfur 'look a likes' for premium money. With the rapid drop in price of ball pythons in general, it's not as bad as it used to be, but kingsnake used to be filled with people selling 'look a likes' which is why I think it's important to buy from someone with a proven line.

Thanks for the photos Tim. Are there any belly signs? Clear, busy?

I have a girl that puts out light colored babies with similar head marks. She was given to me as a het albino which hasnt proved out but she is looking like a possible sulfur to me. What do you think?

    Re: Sulphers!

Very interesting Raul, I've got a female het albino that is very similar. She's had a few babies with similar color and markings but not too many. I should try to get a picture of her. I often wondered if her color had anything to do with being het albino.
