How long has he been under there? One my bps got away from me and I was too afraid to pull him and hurt him. He got into my GAS OVEN!!!! (thank god it doesn't have pilot lights) I couldn't get him out even after taking half the oven apart. I even took the panels off and the broiler, top and everything else I could get. I took the opposite route.....not sure if it was the right choice. I turned off the furnace, opened the windows and blocked off the refrigerator so he wouldn't find warmth there. I'm not sure if that was the right thing to do, but it worked, it was 65 degrees in the house. He came crawling out cold and searching for warmth less than an hour later.
