    All Ohio show

I'm going to the All Ohio reptile show in Columbus this weekend to pick up some rats from rodentpro and look around at stuff. Is this a decent sized show? I see they have it every month so it must draw good crowds, but I can't find any other information on it besides searches on this site, but everything brought up in the search is from 2-3 years ago. I'm looking forward to going because I just got a normal ball python a little over a month ago and I've fallen in love with snakes haha. I'm always looking online at stuff about balls and other snakes but have limited real life experience in seeing what they actually look like. I'm hoping there's a large selection to browse, but I'm also hoping I don't end up buying more than just rats because I can't afford it at this point!

Anyone else going or have any information on what to expect?

I have been a few times, and have not been too impressed. There were a lot of snakes, but no high end morphs. I have not been in at least six months, so things could have improved.

Watch out for Law Reptiles. I don't know if that was his name here for sure, but they seem to be based in Ohio.

Hey just to let you know, there is also a show in West Carrollton Ohio. It is new, and small, but may be worth a look. The next one is on December 6th.

    Re: All Ohio show

Considering that I have only ever been to the Columbus show, it's not bad. Ask me after I have finally made it to Daytona or Tinley and I may have a different answer Occasionally someone will have higher end morphs. Neil Golli who is a member here usually has a table there, great guy who sells RBI racks as well, which rock! Tim Kopperhoffer is a good guy too- he has boas and ball pythons. Carl Aiken and Eric Erb are trustworthy as well.

Wh00h0069, is the one in West Carrolton by the same guy who did the hot show up in the northwest part of the state last year?

To be honest, I've never really seen any morph in person so I'm not too worried about high end morphs yet.

    Re: All Ohio show

the west carrolton show is worthless. its set up inside of a indoor like flea market and has a very little area. i went to the last one on oct 4 and only 5 vendors there and only one with decent snakes. others looked somewhat sickly and were very over priced in my opinion for the health they appeared to be in. it was a waste of 4 dollar admission and the 45 minute drive to it. i will be going to the kentucky show in nov as i heard it was very nice and usually around 50 to 65 vendors with alot of nice animals. the columbus show i have never been to but heard it has been going downhill the last few years.

No, I have not actually been to the one in West Carrollton yet. I was planning to go to the first two. The guy who runs it gave me a flyer. His name is Ron. I do not know his last name. I know that he is trying to get more vendors. I hope that he is able too, because it is only about 25 minutes from my house. The one on December 6th is the third one. Hopefully this one will be better than the first two.
