Please talk me into getting a Blood!

I've wanted a blood forever but haven't come to the place of getting one yet. I've over 30 years of snake experience and I can feel myself teetering on the edge of blood ownership. Should I or shouldn't I Help!!!!!

    You shouldn't.
Simple decision. If you have any doubts, then you should not acquire a living creature. Maybe there's some deep seated knowledge of something upcoming, or maybe you kind of think deep down that you DO want a blood.. but you want a ivory blood, so you want to wait and save for it.
I think you should continue looking into them, and thinking about it. When you are ready for one, then all the blood lovers on here will go nuts with you, congradulating you on your new pet. I like black bloods myself, but I don't feel it's the right time for me to get one right now. Maybe you are similar?
    Just my opinion.

If you have 30 yrs experience and really want one I say get one. I would recommend Kara@NERD or VPI for bloods. You can't go wrong either way. Now go hurry up so we can see some pictures! LOL
    Good luck

I was in the same boat, but make sure you think about the snake when its full grown, make sure you will be able to afford to feed it and house it in the proper cage. But other then that i bought my first blood like 5 months ago feel in love just orderd my third They really are great snakes !!!!!!!!!!

If you're really not sure then I agree that I don't think you should get one. I have wanted a blood for at least a year now, but I have made myself wait because I just don't feel that I can handle the responsibility now with my four other snakes. I've promised myself I can have one when I graduate and get my own place, but until then, no.

Sometimes going and talking to people who have them, or holding one that belongs to someone else may help you make up your mind.

I let the blood do the talking that's what got me

Seriously, I have been thinking about blood for a good while and handling an adult female (thanks to Kara ) is what won me over, now all I have to do is to wait for someone to produce my future baby

I would say go for it. As long as you are comfortable that you can take care of it properly then I see no reason why not. Just do it. Then post lots of fancy pictures.

Heck if he did that he would definitely get one lol. They really are sweet snakes I don't know why people have this fear of them or think that they will be difficult to care for. Only difference is size and medusa' stare lol. I agree though if your not sure then wait.

What is it exactly that is holding you back? Perhaps if you tell us we can tell you more of what you need to know and then you can make a better decision.
