Reptile Shops in DFW

Anyone from the DFW area? I have looked all over the internet and in the phone book, but I can't find any pet stores that have a large selection of reptile supplies. I'm sick of going to the same PetSmart and Petco every time. What I really need is a thermostat (NOT a rheostat) and a wider selection of fake plants, etc.

I know I can order thermostats online, but I like to actually view products in real life and compare them side by side. I'm afraid to order something online and it not be what I was expecting.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. BTW...I found a listing online for The Reptile Shop that appears to be in the Irving/Dallas area. Never had heard of it before but a phone call got a voice mail that didn't confirm I was calling a pet store. Anyone in this area heard of it?

Have you tried pet-o-rama? I know they are the high end side (prices) but they might have what your looking for.

Yes...the one in Mansfield doesn't carry thermostats. I think there's one in HEB area that's bigger. Maybe I'll give them a call. Thanks!

I have not found a good reptile store yet. I go to Petland on I-30 and Collins

I THINK the Reptile Shop closed down a while ago. Someone had mentioned it to me once, but I never could confirm that it was there. Have you tried Rift 2 Reef Aquatics and Reptiles? It's in Lewisville, which I know can be a long drive, but they can order anything you need if they don't have it in stock. I was the reptile manager there before I moved, so I know he can get you anything you need if he doesn't have it on hand. Tell Dane that Micah sent you and he'll take good care of you.
