Any combination of 2 snakes that are BOTH at least het for hypo and clown can produce ghost clowns. In his last sentance, the one that actually mentioned producing his first double recessive ghost clown, he asked if breeding a hypo that is het for clown back to a clown would give him ghost clowns. The answer is no. He also mentioned that he'd have at least double hets, which would get him the double homozyous animal, but that is not what he asked. The only thing I was confused about was why he would breed a hypo het clown to a clown, when he could breed the hypo het clown to another hypo het clown, or a double het, or a clown het hypo. All those would produce a double recessive, but the final pairing he asked about would not. I don't need a punnett square or a program to know that you can't get a homozygous hypo from a straight up clown.
No.i.e. if you had a hypo and bred it to a clown 100%HET Hypo, you would end up with a hypo that is 100% Het clown. Bred back to a clown you would have a hypo clown?
Correct?
