He has always been VERY nippy to the point of even striking the side of the cage as people walk by. Well last night I let the pinkies thaw in the room where he is currently in q/t. He has been staying in the hide pretty much no stop, but not last night. I popped the lid off the sterlite box and he was reared up and trying to strike at me several feet away. Typically he will wait for a few minutes of peace and quiet before going after the pinky, not last night. He was on the pinkie before the lid was back on.
I think he was hungry.
Don't over feed him!
Give him one mouse pinky a week. If he's hatchling small you could shock his system by giving him too much food at one time.

Just because they are looking for more doesn't mean that they should have it!
