Re: this really annoys me
I saw that one as well!
It was on the freaky show - they said "up next, a deadly find in a coeds bathroom" and it was a ball python. Then they were saying how it was deadly and were showing a burmese (i think) attacking prey and then going back to the ball python.
Pathetic.

Re: this really annoys me
I remember seeing something on Animal Planet about having to capture a red tailed boa. The snake was coiled up near a car, and the guy (who typically does rodent/raccoon type calls) was acting like such a baby. Granted, the snake was about 8 feet and was not happy. But it was doing such wimpy little strikes, and the guy's like, "Sometimes if we put a trash can in front of them, they'll crawl in to hide." So he literally chucks a garbage can at the front of the snake, and hopes that it lands somewhere in the vicinity of it because he sure as heck isn't getting any closer to it. He gave the snake about five seconds, and when it didn't go in he said, "Well that didn't work." Of course not; you have to wait for them to actually move. They don't just apparate into the trash can, dummy. Then they thought they'd put a towel over its head but the snake would strike at it every time. Honestly, I thought the man was going to cry. It was all a bit ridiculous.
