Well my atb is a sweetheart now adays. He will come right out of the tub onto my arm when i need to get him out for a cage cleaning. But when i first got him it was a different story, i had to use the hook with him. The gtp's act tough until they are out of thier tubs once out they are fine. In general i guess i know what to look for in terms of them wanting to bite me, but most of the time i do my cleaning in the afternoons when they are pretty much sleeping and feeding at night. From time to time they will wake up and pull the little s curl on me and act like they mean business but i change out the paper towel substrate and nothing. I took a few bites from only one of them, my aru neonate it stings but nowadays he will watch my hands and if i get too close i can see that he will bite me. In general though they arent as bad as people say, however be ready to take a bite if you end up with either an atb or a gtp, because it will happen.
