mites maybe

my ball seems to look like she is scraching at the side of the tank on her water dish and anywhere else she can is this a sign of a parasite or is she getting ready to shed she runs her nose into the aspen bedding also i was going to spray down the tank with mite stuff or would you recomend something else....

Have you seen any signs of an upcoming shed (the pink belly or blue eyes etc) or any trace of mites?

For the mites look in the waterbowl, in her heatpits and around her eyes and in the littlefold under her jaw. Also wiping her down with a slightly damp paper towel can show mites and their droppings. Being composed mainly of dried blood the droppings spread a rust brown stain on the damp paper towel if left for a minute or so.
