mojoxspider or mojoxmojo
My mojave male isnt ready to breed yet... my mojave female however is. I have a really nice male spider that i can pair with her or just give the male mojo a bit more time and see if hes ready by November or so. We have dropped temps in the racks and were just waiting to start pairing up. My other girl who we had hoped would have some eggs flopped on us and were crossing our fingers we will finally have some luck with breeding.. so what would you do?
Breed the female mojo to the spider or just wait it out and see if we can get the mojo male ready?

Re: mojoxspider or mojoxmojo
I personally think mojave spiders are nice looking animals. I'm personally doing mojo x mojo this year, and if I get my BEL will definitely be doing mojo spiders or pins. I personally would go with the spider and not place your eggs in the basket of the smaller male. Or you could rotate with the spider and the mojave and see what happens!

The mojo spider does have a nice "softness" to it that I really like. But in your situation, I would do mojo x mojo, hands down! Whether it's for hold back or selling, a white snake with blue eyes is a dramatic addition to anyone's collection!

I love this group, it sure helps an indecisive person a great deal
Hondo, my mojo male is bigger then that... hes just not producing the plugs
Ashley it is early yet, especially for us Floridians, and if you really want a BEL then wait it out a little while longer. When your male gets close to that 500 gram'ish range put him with the female and see what happens. Don't let plugs be a deciding factor, they can be a helpfull sign, but just because you don't see any doesn't mean your male won't breed and produce fertile clutches.

Re: mojoxspider or mojoxmojo
Start her out on the spider -- if your mojo gets to size throw him into the mix as well -- you could get a little of everything.
Like Kevin said -- it's still early so give it time.
Good luck!

Just saw this after I posted last reply, but again don't stress about the plugs. Put him with your girl or put him with a normal girl for "practice" and see how he reacts.
