Hmmm, I have thrown pairs together WHILE I am cooling, and I have thrown pairs together after raising the temperatures back up from cooling. So I guess I have done it both ways. The weather up here is cooling off a lot. So I have thrown a few pair together and have gotten locks already. I also have snakes that I have paired who have shown no interest in eachother. I am hoping that after I cool them and start to warm them up again I will pair them up again and hopefully get different results.
Well...I really didnt answer your questionbut eh, as long as your snakes are of weight and healthy and ready to breed, I dont see the harm in paring them while you are cooling now. The female just may not be interested yet. Then you just wait after you have cooled.
