It's normal. Most of the time, mice take about 2 months to get started.

Also, as stated, if you didn't get young mice you could have sterile issues. When starting ANY rodent breeding group, always get them young and raise them up to breeding age. That way, you have them for their whole breeding life, and you know they're healthy.
