I was thinking about this post last night. My Ball Python came out of her hide and was moving around a bit. Just as I was thinking how lucky I am to have a BP that I get to see occasionally she went back in her hide.
One of the things my snake does often is keep the tip of her nose just inside her hide so that if she flicks her tongue it actually passes the threshold of her hide. This is great because I can actually see her head and know she is doing well without disturbing her.
