Stressing...*rant party*

You people have problems.

I'm sorry, but I find that offensive. Most people DO have real problems to deal with. Silver lining, la di da, everything is rainbows and sunshine aside. Yes, we can live every day one at a time and feel happy that we're making ends meet for THAT day.

But some of us have children, mortgages, retirement to think about. Yes we should feel blessed to have those things, but they do weigh on our minds. Especially with the current state of things.

At 30, I have a mortgage, bills to pay, three kids to think about college for, one car that's on its last leg, and family issues to deal with. Needless to say I'm stressed. And venting about it helps, so I think that saying someone has "problems" because they need to do just that is, well, like I said, offensive. And that's my opinion....

devilgrrl, I couldn't have said it better myself. Sometimes people have things on their mind and they just want to say it "outloud". It helps ease their stress. I know that when I'm stressing out about something, normally I just want to talk to someone about it. Maybe get some advice or just have it all off my chest.

I'm stressing about a few things right now and it would feel good to write it all down.

My work hates me for some reason so I'm looking for a new job.

We are broke.

I am failing my online class and I hope the professor dropped me so it doesn't count against me.

My dachshund is having issues with learning to use the bathroom outside.

Of course, when I have all these stresses, I try and find good things going on in my life and focus on them.

I'm getting married this month.

My roommates are moving out this month.

Its my first breeding season.

I've lost 5lbs.

though I should refrain, I'm not going too.

The family vehicle is very unsafe to drive and yet my husband does it every day.

I hate the place I live.

I hate the fact we can't afford to do my immigration paperwork.

I hate feeling so isolated, what with not working and not driving, i rarely see anyone not in my immediate family.

I hate the fact that my hubby needs a new heart and they're waiting for him to get worse before they even start looking.

I hate the fact that ever since my hubby found out he needs a new heart he's given up on any sort of future or life.

I hate that my son is already showing signs of having the same heart condition his dad has. he's 2 and it usually doesn't manifest until late teens to early 30's.

I hate the fact that my snakes are all living with friends until we move again.

I hate the fact that no matter how much fat we trim from the budget we still never have any money.

So far the only stress I can talk about has been Eustress!

Going to Tinley!
My neighbors moved out next door!
We're coming up on another breeding season!
I still have a job!
I make enough money that if I kicked Chris out to the curb I could still live comfortably!
I'm getting a new snake!
My birthday is coming sooooon!

Just enough good things going on right now to not focus on the bad.

I'm sorry for saying your lives were boring I just wanted everyone to be on the same page with everyone( it was a kind of bump). I do find my life stressful and right now I'm going to stress. I'm sorry if I have been kinda snappy lately I'm on a new med ( YAY CITALOPHRAM!) to try to even out my moods. I love each and every one of you like my brothers and sisters and I just want you to know that your awesome and I hope your stressful lives will get better soon! for everyone!!!!

I must be the exception to the rule then, I don't feel better when I rant because then I just realize more than I did before, and that's not usually a good thing. I'd rather just DO then TALK. If I can't DO anything about it I don't bother to TALK about it.
