    1st post

    ive been on the site for a lil while. doing a lot of research and just browsing. figured i would finally post something up.

    my 4 1/2ft female


    my 4ft male




    also have a 6ft hog island boa (only pic i have of her right now)




    i have a couple more snakes, but no pics right now. thanks for looking

    thanks. the hog i actually got a couple months ago from some1 in south florida. he didnt take care of her very well and she has a lot of scars from rats biting her and the cage she was in. but she will make a good breeder. still searching for a male

    yes i will be breeding them. actually im picking up a male pos het pied tomorrow. would i get anything different if i breed it with the normal female? what do i breed him with to get some pieds?

    pieds are a recessive gene, so if you breed a 100% het pied to a normal female, you will get hed pieds and normals from that pairing. Unfortunatly since pied is recessive, het pieds and normals look the same.

    The only way to get pieds is from a pairing of two het pieds, a het pied and a full pied, or two full pieds.
