Re: Super Black Pastel Piebald Pic... I think?

There is a rumor out there that it is badly kinked, until this pic is revealed to put that rumor to rest, the ones that have seen it can't comment, can they

No one told me that I "can't comment" on anything ... I personally didn't see any kinks in the animal that I saw ... I didn't run my thumb down it's spine and examine it either, but just looking at it, it appeared to me to be fine.

While I don't feel it's appropriate for me to air Ian's business on internet forums, I do think it's appropriate to put to rest any false speculation if I can.

    I hope this helps.

How does one go about getting ahold of Ian G.? I tried E-mailing him a couple times through his web site and never got an answer. I purchased a snake from J&J that came from Ian G., it has genetic traits that are supposedly proven by Ian and I was looking to get more info on it.

Your best bet is to catch him at a show ... or contact J&J maybe?

To answer your question, the pic you posted looks like a Super Cinnamon Ringer that was produced by Jared Hornstein in 2006 (I believe). I would bet that that is the same animal. And, the Super Black Pastel Pied does not look like that. As Adam stated, it does exist, I have seen the pic. However, that is all I will say about that.

    Hope that helps,

Why is it under wraps anyway? I don't understand that...

By the way, here's the link to the site where I got the pic from:

You'd be surprised at all of the mutations that exist that have never been posted on the internet ... there are some people that just focus their priorities in other place ... simple as that really.

Adam -- tho I certainly agree people have other priorities and understand that some people produce stuff and just don't post it - and that is absolutely within their right and I'm cool with that. But given that someone decided to post all over the forums about this thing without Ians permission or pictures -- why isn't Ian breaking out the camera for one glory shot of the dang thing? What's his thought on it - is he just going to let people stew until someone else produces one or is he waiting for maybe another clutch to hatch or something? Or has he sworn everyone to secrecy? Is it retarded? Come on we're all friends here you can tell us.....

Actually tosha... no one posted it all over the forums with out Ian's permission about it.

You should get your facts strait before you talk. Just like all the b.s you posted on k.s that got deleted.

Ian gave us permission to post that he made it, and got tied up with other things before he sent the pics.

I have nothing else to say about it, if he wants to put pics up he will, next time we wont bother posting about anything.

I wish I knew Tosha? ... I'm really not the guy to answer that one. I just don't like seeing stones thrown at the project just because pics haven't been posted ... in my humble opinion, that's not right.

Maybe he'll post pics after hunting season?
