The way I see it is... if you have to ask, then it's probably a normal. Of course, the looks of your normal definitely comes into play if you want to do some selective breeding.

Not necessarily. Especially if you don't know it's heritage. Did you ever see this thread?

It can be extremely difficult to discern. Just wondering if any of the experts on here can give a definitive.

He looks like a normal to me. Nothing that stands out to me as any indicator that he might be something else (hooks in the patterning for example).
He's a pretty boy!
Oh, and several of the animals in that poll are normal females of mine!
