quick question
is a 32 q tube big enough for a over 1000 g female or do I need a 42q? I will add I poll

Well, I would think that is all you had was a 32 .. it wouldn't be harmful to keep them in there, but for the big .. BIG girls it will be a squeeze, and breeding in the 32 is almost out of the question.
That is just from my observations and from what I have seen online. I don't have any female big enough for me to worry about that just yet, let alone breeding.

I really think that it depends on the snake. I have 1000g snakes in 32qt tubs and some are very ready to move to bigger digs and some already have and are doing very well. I also have 1000g snakes who are just fine in 32qt tubs and so I will not move them.
As for breeding, I have my breeding females in 3x2x1 RBI cages as they are all over 1500g and in no way would be able to procreate with any sort of room- in my opinion.

I bred all of my balls in 32 qt tubs last season, and had great results. I was housing the females in CB70's, but was moving them into the male's 32 qt tubs to breed.
