I never thought I'd actually be defending a cop some day, but here goes. Pretty much that whole story you just told was standard procedure. Having multiple squad cars is a safety issue. Whenever one car pulls someone over on the streets, they're supposed to call for at least one other car to back them up in case something goes wrong. Being that you don't actually KNOW what happened, it sounds like your over reacting. How do you know the cops didn't see him throw something out the window when they were pulling him over? Even if it was just a ciggarette butt, they have to check it out. They arrested the kid that was breaking curfew, and let the one who wasn't go. They towed someone's car who didn't have insurance because guess what, in most states it's illegal to drive without insurance! It sounds like you're trying to make a race issue out of nothing to me, because I've seen all these things happen to plenty of white people around here. Just because you don't like a law doesn't mean it's optional.
