I heard this from somewhere, and thought it was useful.
If get a clutch of nice pastels, generally they will be similar. And even though one of them by themselves look really 'superish' if you put it next to the clutch mates (especially if there are supers in the clutch) you can definitely tell it's a pastel by comparison.
