    Black Pastels

Ive read the NWE's guide to morphs regarding black pastels. And Im a lil curious and confused bout the squiggles that appears on them. Does it really mean that if your bp matches NWE's description of the morph, like the sguiggles, clear belly, etc, then you have indeed a black pastel? Doesnt that "markers" appear on normals? Cause Ive seen black pastel's capabilities in producing morphs, that's making me want to buy one. But I think a lil research on their looks might be of great help. Thanks in advance guys.

    Re: Black Pastels

The guides are good to help you identify the subtleties of each morph. If you wanted to try proving out a CH animal as a black pastel knowing the traits would be helpful; but even finding a CH animal with the markers does not guarantee that the look will be genetically inheiritable by the offspring. Buying from a breeder working with a proven line is the only way to guarantee 100% that your snake is a black pastel.

    Re: Black Pastels

Isn't the black pastel actually the results of selective breeding of Cinnimon Pastels?

I like the look of a cinny better than the black pastel, but when you go super having one be black pastel really helps.

    nope.

Each produce a dark partternless super, each produce a pewter

The cinny produces the sterling and the black pastel produces the silver streak.

For me it is black pastel all the way there are only very few cinnies that I like (Adam's and Albey's cinnies)

    This is a Black Pastel
