Ok, my room-mate, boyfriend and I just spent like 4 hours bleaching tubs, treating rats, and trying to clean the room as best we could.

We bleached all the tubs, culled some rats, treated the rest of the rats, sprayed stuff on the carpet, and cloroxed everything we could possibly clorox.

They look like chiggers to me. I had about six tubs and they were only really bad in one of the tubs, another tub had some infestation, and all the other tubs I couldn't see but one or two bugs. We treated everything, but why would they be so bad in just that one tub?

Also, I have one nursing rat, and three pregnant ones...so hopefully the spray won't adversely affect the pregnant ones. I feel like the nursing babies don't have much of a chance....this was a very sad day.
