but with the selective breeding the way i did with geckos will i be able to produce something that is a normal but say brighter or even the puzzle peice pattern that ive seen very rarly like the zig-zag morphs of bearded dragons?

Sure, as you've seen with your geckos, selective breeding is a good way to improve on traits you like. But like Robin said, you can't produce any genetic morphs by selectively breeding normals.
