Meet BISSAU, my spider (lots of pics)

After 2 days traveling the roads of Europe, my spider is finally home. He was picked in Hamm (Germany) and I took some pictures before letting him get used to the new environment

So, here he is... BISSAU, born on June 3 and bred by Regiuswelt

    And exploring the 10g

In the future, he will be "meeting":

    ABUJA, the NERD pastel

    and ACCRA, the nominal

Hope you like him (I do )

He's a perfect spider (at least to my taste in spiders). Those females are gorgeous too. I love the white outlining on your normal female's markings and that NERD pastel is lovely!

    Joanna,
To my taste, too. Spiders are a common morph in a big BP market like the US but where Iīm from itīs not that easy to get one and really difficult to find the RIGHT ONE. This one had to travel a lot to get here. So, Iīm extremely pleased with the little fellow. He is light in colour, with a clean well designed web and lovely head markings (reminds me my JCP).
And I hope he does his job with my two females in a couple of years (specially the pastel). I would really like to produce bees.

Here are 2 more pics that I liked

Re: Meet BISSAU, my spider (lots of pics)

    Feeding success !

As mentioned above, he arrived on Tuesday. Sunday is feeding day for my snakes, and after prescenting the room he looked "ready" to eat. so I tried him out with a 15g rat. Warmed it up, did the "rat dancing" with the tongs and BAM. He didnīt even hesitate !

Thatīs a quick switch from live or pre-killed (at the breeder) to f/t: 1st atempt after 2 days in a bag travelling and only 5 in his new home and he nailed it !

Call it success, luck or whatever.. I simply call it happiness
