Hi Everyone, Well as I've mentioned in my earlier posts I am totally new to owning a snake and learning as I go - this site has been wonderful.

Anyway, my one year old female ball had her first shed this weekend and it is slowly coming off in pieces. It appears that the head area came off fine but the rest of her is just slowly falling off.

I printed out the "bad shed, no problem" thread and plan to implement that process tonight.

It has been three days since she started to shed - did I wait too long to intervene?? I hated to disturb her and wasn't sure what to do.

I believe the problem is because I am currently keeping her in a glass viv that has been nothing but a hassle with trying to keep the humidty and temps right so I have ordered a new cage for her from Reptile Basics with all the bells and whistles - hopefully the next shed will go much smoother.

If anyone has any helpful suggestions - I'm open to any help I can get.
