with just the 4 snakes I use the reptile water bowls that look like rock. Otherwise a broad base or jusT A HEAvy bowl should be fine. Dollar stores are woderful places to stock up on these types of supplies.

Bingo! I like disposable deli cups for my snakes. 8oz for the babies and 16oz for adults. For the 16oz I use 4" PVC couplers from HD. $2 each. For the 8oz my pal Charlie has been kind enough to cut me some out of PVC. I don't have the saw to cut PVC properly.

This is what we use. At their prices (you get 3 doz of each size per case), it's very cost effective. They are less than 2 miles from my front door so no shipping either!
I like these because they are heavy, not easy to tip and since they are restaurant grade they tend to be easy to clean/disinfect. They are a family run local business so that makes it even nicer to buy from them.
