If you can get PAM then by all means get it, but what worked for me was using Nix. I should clarify that it never touched the snake, I only used it on her enclosure, 1 part Nix to 68 parts water. I also baked all her wooden deco. As for her I used reptile relief, followed by a soak, followed by a coat of mineral oil. It was alot of work, but I haven't seen a mite since. And don't forget to get around where it's enclosure is either. Good luck
