I saw a documentary on cloning dinosaurs a few days ago. By the sound of it, it will be much easier to manipulate the genes of fetui and in turn you could alter the anatomy, skin(whether you want scales, feathers, no scales) and problably even color. They discovered that the small number of genes that controls anatomy have genetic memory, for example a developing chicken has 15 vertebrae in its tail, but as a fully developed animal it only has 8 vert. They have already discovered ways that were rather simple to keep those vert. that are not kept throughout developement. Same goes with teeth, feathers, arms, hands; they are and will be able to eventually produce a dinosaurian-like animal from either a chicken or some other species of bird. Which in turn, will lead to some interesting things in the pet market. Think of those possibilities, you want a bp that will only get 1 foot in lenght done. Or how about a 10 foot bp, or a pink bp with purple freaking poka dots, the possibilities are as endless as one's imagination, that could one day be a reality.
