yellow belly or het?
The pet store that I go to all the time has a BP for sale. Its $100 as opposed to some that are smaller that are 65 or 45. The girl was showing me something and I noticed that it was very different from my ball, which I know is a normal.
I need to get a pic but im going to describe it as best as I can, and also because it was in blue. The back looks completely normal, but going towards the tail it begins to get a reduced looking pattern. The belly, however, is COMPLETELY clear but was very very very yellow but the pattern didnt really come down the side to the belly. It didnt look like any yellow belly ive ever seen in pics on the internet. I dont know if it was because it was in shed or what. Is it a yellow belly? Or just a het for something? I know its hard to tell from just a description, but just looking for guesses. I might try to get up there and take a pic though. They aren't trying to say its anything at all.. im just fishing I guess.

Probably just a normal...

Sounds like normal with a somewhat reduced pattern.
The term yellow belly is a bit misleading since the side pattern on the belly is really what distinguishes one.
You cannot visually tell a het (unless it's a het ivory) from a normal animal by looks.

oh! I thought I read somewhere that a clear belly was an indicator of something... So clear bellies mean nothing usually?

A clear belly is a trait that accompanies a lot of co-dom morphs. It's definitely not a guarantee, and lots of normals have it also.
