I think the small size would be better instead of the mini's. Those mini's were made for their mini tubs. I have smalls for shoe box tubs and they're just right. My 2 month male is already having trouble fitting the small.
Unless these are hatchlings that'll be gone after several feeds....
Too many snakes to be declared "sane" as far as my friends are concerned....

I got you all beat on price wise! Toilet paper tubes! My hatchlings LOVE them!! Nice, tight and snug. I also recycle the little black dishes that cole slaw and stuff comes in from Chic-fil-lay (however you spell it). Just cut a little hole and all set to go. Use those for corns, hoggies, and some of the BP's.

I don't use hides - Never have...I just give my hatchlings several inches of cypress mulch in their tubs...Some bury down in it - Some don't...Works for me...

Have had a few babies that LOVED the t/p rolls, most I use the saucers (i have the tan ones). I like them because even the little one feels safe. The other thing I use is just plain boxes.

Then a few seconds using my handy, dandy saudering wand and bingo a nice rooftop entrance. One fits perfectly on the warm end of a 6 qt shoebox tub. Here's an example....

I use these same hides for my hatchlings. A 1.5" circle cutter drill bit costs about $5 and cuts perfect entrances. I can cut a stack in a few seconds, defnitely worth the investment if you are expecting more than a few babies.

Hmmmm I never thought of that. I think Mike's new drill set came with one of those too. Thanks for a great timesaving idea Jake!

Glad to help. Those plastic fumes will kill you! At least they smell like they could.

I completely blame them for some of my "odder" moments!
