    Does you snake sneeze?

Ok, so I have this very cool adult Woma Python and he is in shed currently (blue eye). So now he starts to sneeze. I am concerned but curious if this could be just "normal"? Yes Yes Yes I know the lot of you will ask about care.. Look, I have 27+ snakes & other Reptiles. I have been doing this for awhile. The temps are correct etc etc etc..
I have been looking for any bubbles or such.. nothing found.
So... Could this be just this snake and his way to shed? I have heard about the skin in the "nose" that causes sometimes a wease sound. He doesnt have that. Just a cold?? But not RI?
I have no problem jumping to my Vet and having her take a look.
How long this has been going on?? 2 days.. Now we in the house have been all sick ourselves.. did he catch it from us..

Thanks in advance for your input

    Re: Does you snake sneeze?

I'm not sure on Woma python antamony but to the best of my understanding snakes as a genural rule don't have a diaphram so sneezing is out of the question. I could be wrong but I'm pretty sure thats why RI's are so worrysome is that they can't cough to get the flem out. Is it possiable that its something else your hearing??

    Just asking?

    Re: Does you snake sneeze?

    Up dated
Ok, So after a very exclusive look at my Rusty.. ie Woma.
He is in shed and there for his poor nostrils are closed up with skin . He is having to breath from his mouth which he doesnt seem to like that much. I tried to wet down / loosen up some way into his nose but no luck. Poor guy.. This is my first shed with this type of python. For those who dont know about them they are from Australia and are either the only or one of very very few pythons who have NO heat vents. So his striking is a bit "off" at times. We did break out the lil rubber spatula or how ever that is spelled. No signs of RI or any problems.
