Just a little note for our newer keepers, the OP doesn't really mean the snake "came in the mail" as in the postman dropped it off in his mail box or something like that. The United States Postal Service does not deliver snakes and this one quite likely came the usual route of overnight FedEx or something of that sort. Just thought I'd clarify that point so there's no confusion for our new to keeping snakes membership.
Well yes. For those who dont know. Fed ex - UPS - Or at your local airport. Breeders will ship over night and depending on weather conditions etc etc.. This is how you will get them. You will really need to be there the day to pick it up. My wife is getting one through Fed-Ex this wensday. She actually has to go to Fed-Ex and open it there for insurance to cover it. Then right at that point she will put it in the container. Probably get bit but well worth it. This is one of her dream snakes. So dont be discouraged on finding a snake from a real.. and I stress REAL trusting breader on line. Not craigslist not some rinky dink hole in the wall.. But a realy true breader who knows how to ship and what to do and plus actually ship the animal and not just take your money. On the site here there are REAL breaders. Very well known and you can trust. Note my Pied did come from Ralph Davis his first Pied clutch. I have pics & documantation of the feeding and whole life till its mine.

Ok sorry I am rambling on
Ps.. If $$ is a problem. Most places have layaway.. Really no lie.
