Thanks. I figured it had to be ok for snakes considering I saw it so much. Like I said, I'm still a newbie when it comes to reptiles. My boyfriend is the one who has grown up with reptiles.

It's still up in the air if he'll breed this male with his other female but I've been letting him know all I've been told and researching myself so he can hopefully make the right decision.

But in other news, they both came back with clean bills of health from the vet!
