    Finely shredded cypress mulch...

Would anyone be interested in buying finely shredded cypress mulch? None of the large sticks, just nice small finely shredded 100% cypress mulch. Perhaps selling at shows? It's fairly close in consistency to Kaytee's shredded aspen bedding that you can buy at petsmart.

Do you think this is a good idea or just a waste of time to offer to people?

This is a 16 oz. deli cup in there to give you an idea of the size of the fibers.

I'm been looking for a finely milled cypress mulch similar to that. We have "double milled" around here, but it still has large sticks and splinters in it as the majority to each bag. Did you have it milled further?

Yes sir, it's triple milled. I can't stand having the large chunks either. Makes it extremely annoying to spot clean and add small amounts of bedding to the cage.

    Keepers Choice cypress bale.
    It's already out there.
$15 for 40 qts but well worth it IMO.

    What would your price be?

Me, me, me! I hate having to pick through some of those daggerlike slivers in that darn doublemilled stuff. I swear you could do surgery with some of those pieces, they are that sharp!

I actually haven't even started thinking about a price yet. Personally, I've had one heck of a time finding anything even near to this around my area. I'm really just looking to get an idea of how many people would be interested in something like this. Where can you get the Keepers Choice stuff at? I haven't heard of it before.

Thats insanely high priced. I would never spend that much money on a cubic foot of cypress mulch! Not when I can just pick out the larger pieces and spend $2 a bag from the home depot for 2 cubic feet of regular double milled 100% cypress.

    Is this the product?

    Re: Finely shredded cypress mulch...

I definitely wouldn't be looking to price it that high. It'd be more to help people out than to get rich off of. Like I said, I know how hard it can be to find this stuff unless you buy it by the truck load. It most likely would not be professionally packaged, as that would REALLY drive the cost up.
