    Re: Is this worth it?

If the pic you posted the the one your talking about i would say yes, but before you buy i would check out the snake see if it does lets say some weird stuff, weird neck bends ext. Im pretty sure its called the spins but some spiders have it worse then others might be why he is selling it so cheap. hope this helps

AHHH!! A Spider! if thats the snake he is offering I would take it and go to a vet ASAP just in case... I wonder why he is selling such a pretty snake fore only 150.. it maybe fore quick cash but you dont want to end up with a snake thats not eating.

    Re: Is this worth it?

It sounds too good to be true, and we all know what that usually means. If it is real and he just needs some quick cash, I don't think he should have publically advertised it with that low of a price. That's kind of bogus. If it's really a healthy snake, he would be able to sell it privately in about as much time as it took to make the ad, and it wouldn't effect the real spider market like ads like his do.

    Re: Is this worth it?

Buy from a quility breeder with a good reputation and don't worry if you being taken for a ride. 150.00 For a spider is twice as cheap as the cheapest I've seen. I'd say hit up Exotics by Nature, 8Ball Pythons, Bailey and Bailey reptiles. You'll spend a little more but you won't have to rush it to the vet or worry that your getting a crap snake.

When you shop in the allys of the industry you have to sort through a lot of trash.

    Re: Is this worth it?

When a deal is just too good to believe, I tend to be pretty skeptical. It may well be a decent hobbyist that is having to move their collection at reduced rates due to some sort of personal issue but just be very careful, double check everything, ask everybody. I'd hate to see another person scammed over a deal of a centry deal that isn't.

    Re: Is this worth it?

I've been seeing spider males sell for $200 - so for one that looks like it's fresh from the egg and not exactly a great looking example of the morph -- $150 isn't IMO "too good to be true".

With any seller use caution -- but if you want guarantees then go with someone that you know will stand behind their animals.

    Re: Is this worth it?

The only person who can determine whether or not it's a deal is you. Do you like the animal and are you willing to spend the money on it? If you said YES then it's a deal. Looks like a nice average spider to me.

    Re: Is this worth it?

definately a deal you would want to do IN PERSON. No deposits... no pre paying. Meet them in person with snake. If you like it buy it with cash and take delivery of it immediately. Seems pretty suspicious to me. will little effort he can get more then that.

    what else are they selling???!!!!
