As for moving shelves in a rack, the plastic shelving unit I'm talking about would accommodate many different sized tubs, no building or moving involved. My main concern is its stability, though. I don't know how sturdy they are.
Why not get one of those metal shelving units?

You could use different shelves for different tubs, or even two tubs on one shelf if they will fit side by side, and then on the top shelf, you just place plexi, or wood, and You can put a TV, or Bed lamp or whatever on top. Multi purpose, and strong an cheap. They come in ALL sizes too.
