    water nosles clogging

To all you rodent breeder extraordinaires...

I'm suddenly have an issue with the my watering system getting clogged from some kind of growth. I have a standard waterbucket/tubing/brass valve system....

I've always used a capful of bleach / 5gal of water and I've never had an issue with anything clogging in the several years previous to now....

The clogging agent is white, kind of a snot-like consistency...

Any ideas as to what it is/how I can fix it?

    Thanks!

    Eww... snot

Personally I would just take off the nozzles and flush the lines with bleach water. Letting the bleach water drain to the floor or into another bucket.

Being me, I'd probably do it a few times bleach, then fresh water a couple more times.

Even better if you can hook up and blow high pressure through the lines

Scrub the bucket good with bleach water, then refill.

I cover our water buckets with a lid to keep dust out.

    Re: water nosles clogging

Thanks for your replys! I think I'm going to do both things. I'll soak all my nozzels in vinigar and hook my hose up to the watering system to put some pressure and get whatever crap is in the lines out... I really think most if not all of the buildup is in the nozzels themselves.

    Thanks again!
