    What should i get?

I am looking ionto getting a new snake as a pet. I currently keep ATBs and BCI so I know quite a bit no the boa front. I use to keep sand boas also.

I am very interested in 3 snakes and need your opinions on them..... Tiawanese Beauty Snakes, Hog Island Boas and BRBs.

just want to know what people think of them as I am wanting to have one as a pet.... not for breeding.

    Thanks!

I love my hog island boas. They are very calm and haven't given me any problems. I especially love the colors on my female. I think BRBs look great too but I heard they tend to be nippy sometimes...

If those were my choices, I would go for the Hog Islander as it would seem to be a pretty good pet snake in my opinion.

You should definitely get a brazilian rainbow boa.
These are very beautiful snakes that are maroonish - orange.
Depending who you get yours from you could get one that's mostly orange or you can get one thats mostly maroon with a little less orange. either way the iridescent colors on these snakes is very much so on its own level and can't be matched by neither a TBS or a HIB.

I was told as babies these snakes are nippy however I got mine from petco as a baby and she/he has never striked, hissed, or bit me since I have had him/her.

It has been a really great snake.

The feeding response of this snake turns on quickly and boy are they fast when it comes to striking. As are most snakes but I have a bais for these ones but I still love the other boa species.

I like these so much I would TRADE my Adult ball python and my King snake for another baby BRB.

I really suggest you get a Brazilian rainbow boa.

Also, these boas grow really fast and in my opinion after about 2 - 3 feedings (when you feed it two adult mice per feeding) you can notice the weight gain.

Or maybe you cant see the weight gain and I only "See" it because I love my baby that much lol.

Something you have to know about this snake is that it needs constant humidity of at least 50 - 66% all the time.
