A shed will measure longer than the actual length of the snake.

Sheds typically measure 4" longer, with some being more some less, than the snake itself.

A more accurate way of measuring snake length is to find that software that measures them in a picture with something of known length with them...or to let them slither through something long and straight and see how much is left outside.

males tend to get bigger,they don't need much room mine thive in a 15qt tub/rack.

I have a male corn (unknown age) that is 995g and about 5 feet long. He's just a monster lol.

Those 4" longer are specific to corns ? at what age ?

Because I don´t know about specifics in corn shed, but I think it´s better to discount % than inches. IMO if you discount around 15% of the shed´s lenght you should probably get close to the snake´s actual lenght
